Yugo only on occasion

Im really disappointed with this bar. I have been to the previoius gay bars the preceeded this one at this location; Marleys, Taylors, and now Rainbow Cactus. The previous operations impressed me as being dirty, smelly, ugly, and unfriendly. The current owner, Karen initially made great attempts to clean and paint the digs but other than smelling better, much is the same. The decor is dated wood paneling. There lighting is dreary, there is a back patio however no alcoholic drinks are allowed, the crowd is usually very sparse and when there is a quarem, most are lesbians (sorry gals no offense but I'm gay), the bar tender, Susan, is clickish giving me superficial kindness when it's time to take the money. The "resident" customers are always there (about three of them) and do not foster an inclusive atmosphere. I really want this establishment to succeed since it is near my home. It definately needs to expand its back patio and extend its liquor license to it. Brighten up and modernize the interior, and have real drink specials. Good luck.
