Gay Friendly Palm Springs
Hot sun, hot springs, and hot bodies combine to make Palms Springs one of the most popular gay vacation sites in America. As one of the most well known gay friendly desert hotspots, the Palm Springs area has developed substantially over the last decade. Its ability to maintain a village scale, smaller town feel than many of its gay-popular California counterparts makes for a unique locale with hot appeal on every level. Set at the foot of Mount San Jacinto, the Palm Springs scenery is dramatic and its climate enviable. Sunny most days of the year with temperatures dropping significantly in the evenings, there are opportunities to don a variety of wardrobes as darkness settles in the desert - and the boys turn up their own variety of heat.
Golf tournaments, tennis matches, resorts, restaurants and rainbow flags inspire a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere throughout the village. Whether you have been to Palm Springs before or are making your first visit, you're guaranteed to be pleasantly surprised by its natural beauty and gay friendly appeal. With an exciting gay nightlife, cultural exhibits, and a unique desert community atmosphere, this city is sure to fulfill all your needs for a great gay travel experience - for business, vacation, or a little bit of both!
Where to Stay Gay Friendly Hotels in Palm Springs
Palm Springs is most well known for an array of more than three dozen guesthouses with a variety of personalities to suit every gay visitor's needs. A cluster of guesthouse are concentrated in the Warm Springs area of Palm Springs while others are dispersed throughout the city - often neatly tucked away with their own private atmosphere. While Palm Spring's guesthouses generally offer a more intimate feel than some of the city's gay friendly hotels, the decor and atmospheres range broadly - as do the sexual temperatures. Before selecting your home base, think about your own preferences (high cruisiness factor versus laidback atmosphere? boisterous partiers versus quiet neighbors?) to ensure a perfect match between the guesthouse environment and your envisioned vacation.
If bigger is better for you then there are a variety of large, nationally recognized accommodations with gay friendly atmospheres like Hyatt Grand Champions, the Marquis, Riviera and Wyndham. Or think about natural hot springs in town at the Spa Hotel. Looking to escape the conventional world of rules and regulations?
