It's time for the Boston boys to rejoice and celebrate this gay night club, because there is only one way to describe this crowd - red hot. Club Cafe resides in the heart of the South End neighborhood, and trust us, the boys here are ready to party. If you're in the mood to make new friends, you shouldn't have any problems meeting someone and sharing a steamy evening together on the dance floor.
This place is fabulous because of its diversity - it literally offers something for everyone. There is an elegant restaurant, a video bar, and a night club. For all you boys who can't make up your mind on what to do (or who to do), the Club Car is the obvious choice, because you just can't go wrong with all of these options and cute waiters and bartenders.
Located on 209 Columbus Avenue, the restaurant within this gay club is referred to as the 209 Boston. This modern eatery is billed as an American bistro and cocktail bar that revels in informal sophistication. The seasonal menu changes often and boasts amazing pastas and seafood that are always prepared with inventive ingredients. The robust flavors infused in classics like clam chowder and beef tenderloin separate Club Cafe from neighboring establishments. And the potent cocktails are delicious; while the signature martini is especially popular with regulars.
The video bar is fun for the crowd out on the dance floor. The hot bodies grinding into each other really get the crowd worked up into a frenzy. Club Cafe is original with socially conscience events ranging from the JRI HIV Social Event to the Boston Gay Man's Chorus (check the website for further details). This Boston Landmark in the historic district is more than worth the trip, but if you are still looking for another reason, they've got karaoke. The hot boys of Boston, spectacular food, and a sizzling dance scene - the Club Cafe has it all for the gay crowd looking for a good time.
This is the place for young professionals in Boston. The place gets packed on weekends - especially the video room! Hot guys galore - friendly bartenders (though the drinks aren't the cheapest in town) - and a fun vibe. By: Matt on April 20, 2009
Seems to the place to be in Boston
I've been here a few times on different trips to Boston. While it seems that Boston is a bit lacking on nightlife overall - this place hit the spot. It's a fun video bar - the crowd is pretty friendly - great videos / music - nice bartenders. My only complaint would be that it seems like everyone knows everyone - so going single might be intimidating for some - but whenever I go, I seem to meet some nice guys. By: Dan on October 13, 2008
