My Austin Favorite
I travel to Austin on a regular basis for work - and always try to stay at this hotel. Austin isn't a city known for a lot of great upscale hotels - so if you prefer the upper class hotels - this is really one of the best options in town. By: Jose on October 7, 2008
My partner and I were welcomed
Traveling to the Bush State - my partner and I had no idea what to expect in Austin. We were delighted to find that the people of Austin were warm and welcoming - including the folks at The Omni. Music lovers at heart - we made our first trip to Austin to learn a bit more about the local music scene. Though we spent most of our time in various bars taking in the live music - we did make a stop or two at a few of the gay watering holes too.
As far as The Omni - the room was exactly what you expect from Omni. Plenty spacious with all the comforting amenities - robes, great towels, and wonderful beds were a few of my favorites. The hotel was alsoin a great location for our needs - so much within a stone's through of the front door. The staff - very accommodating - we really had no idea we were in Bush land!
Though I'm not sure we'll be back in Austin anytime soon (Palm Springs is next on our list) - if we do return - we're sure to visit our friends at The Omni again! By: Steve on February 11, 2008
